February? Or November?

7:15 tonight

So, two point five sick days this week. Happily, I'm on the mend. Back to work tomorrow, for a full day this time. Back in the pool later this week.

But enough of that. Yes, sick, wah wah. Get over it Peter. After all, Project Runway starts tonight. I'm trying to do this in the quieter moments of the show.

Anyhoo, no big food stuff this week. Oh, yes, dinner last night at Osteria Via Stato was quite nice. We did the grandma's kitchen option wherein we each chose an entree, and they brought round antipasti and pasta to our hearts' content. We did not bring a camera, though. Dommage.

The point of this post is simply to put up some photos from this evening. Very humid weather, and kind of warm. Nonetheless, while Jeph gets hardcore rain over in Snow-Hi-Oh, it's heavy heavy fog here. Very odd. A glance out the window suggests it's a very different time of year.
8:15 tonight.

Same here, it's already 85 and humid and I'm pulling all the spinach and lettuce before it bolts.

Like you, we had some inclement weather yesterday. Not quite as foggy, but definitely heavy rains at times.

Happy to say that today is a completely different story. Environment Canada says it is 28, with a 35 Humidex. Not in downtown Toronto. It seems a lot cooler. Maybe out by the airport.

Out at the airport is always warmer, isn't it? Well, almost. But here by the lake we tend to be a bit cooler than even a mile or two west.

28 is plenty warm for me. Once it hits 30, ugh. Did I tell you it was up to about 40 in Chico?
