Third NZ post: still in Christchurch

By the end of the day we'd been in and out of the city core a handful of times. Enjoyed the weekend market at the Arts Centre. Were disappointed to find that the nearby pool was closed until today for maintenance. Had a nice lunch at Dux de Lux
and an even better dinner at Le Bon Bolli (cheese platter to start with and to share, sardines for me and escargot and a smoked salmon plate for Conrad).





Easy to fall behind on these posts, especially when actually seeing the country competes for my time. Ah well.

Some more Christchurch photos in this post. We got up early our first full day in Christchurch. In fact, I would have been content to let Conrad sleep while I went out walking about the quiet city, but he got up as well and came along.

And saw a little too much of a very small portion of the city. That paired with the ceaselessly grey weather made us glad to escape Christchurch the next day.

But that commentary can wait. For now, more Christchurch.
