birthday lei

I'm resisting the temptation to use a cheese pun on the word lei for this post. You all can see where that might go.

Conrad returned from his most recent Honolulu trip with a gift from friends/colleagues there: a lei. It's a traditional gift for a birthday celebration, and it held up well for days after his birthday. I just wish I knew the flowers from which it was made.

We both agreed that it somehow went very well with the sweater he's wearing.
