a date night was had

After QUITE a day here in Vancouver, it was a real pleasure and relief to have a dinner date with Conrad.  Van and I had been to Joe Forte's earlier this month with Jenny and Steven, and Conrad had missed out.  That just couldn't be, and so we wandered the handful of blocks up there for a nice evening together.

I didn't photograph everything - low light, enjoying the food and wine - but I did capture this cute guy.

Oh yes, we ate and drank well (how nice to get some ling cod,

not a fish I see much down in SoCal), I can assure you of that.  But mostly, it was just so nice to have a late summer evening and a meal out with Conrad.💗
