appreciation

We’ve done road trips with Van, and shorter trips involving flights:  Colorado, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto.  Conrad and I have each done separate trips with him as well.  This, however, is our first big, international trip.  And it’s going swimmingly.  Any jet lag induced crankiness was minimal.  None of us is the kind to overplay a day, and simply being in a place is enough for us.  Oh, we’re doing things, but low key.  No Stress Express, as we say when we’re together.  It’s a treat to be halfway through this Italy vacation and just be enjoying how easy it is.  I love these guys, and I can’t wait for the next adventure.  But yes, we’ll finish this one first!
